The Community Enrichment Project of Hawaii exists to empower rural communities on Hawaii Island through education, STEAM concepts, culture, and lifelong learning opportunities, fostering a thriving, sustainable future for the next generation.
We envision a thriving and interconnected community across Hawaii, where every individual has access to the resources, education, and opportunities needed to grow, inspire, and uplift one another. By fostering collaboration and cultivating lifelong learning, we empower the next generation to lead with compassion, creativity, and a deep sense of cultural stewardship, ensuring a sustainable and equitable future for all.
Aloha and Pono (Compassion and Righteousness)
We are guided by the spirit of Aloha, embracing empathy, kindness, and respect in everything we do. Pono reminds us to act with integrity and fairness, making decisions that uphold the well-being of our community.
Community-Centered
We believe in the power of togetherness, building strong connections within our communities through collaboration, trust, and mutual support. Every voice matters, and we grow stronger through collective effort.
Lifelong Learning
Education is the foundation for growth and opportunity. We are committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity at every stage of life, ensuring that learning is a continuous, empowering process.
Cultural Stewardship
With deep reverence for Hawaii’s land and traditions, we honor and preserve the cultural heritage of our islands. We incorporate these values into all our programs to enrich our work and the lives of those we serve.
Sustainability, Growth, and Innovation
We strive to create a sustainable future through responsible actions, embracing both traditional wisdom and modern innovations to ensure a vibrant, resilient, and prosperous Hawaii for generations to come.
